PROJECT
The 18-storey commercial office tower underwent a comprehensive refurbishment in 2018/19 involving the replacement of the entire façade and all lifts, together with significant modifications to the base building services.
In addition to undertaking the base building refurbishment, Floth also delivered all services for an 8,000m² integrated tenancy fitout for the Department of Information, Technology, Science and Innovation (DITSI0).
SPECIAL ENGINEERING FEATURES
- The significant modifications to the base building services included new chillers and on floor low temperature variable air volume air handling units, new tenant’s distribution boards and new light fittings, etc.
- With the energy efficiency measures incorporated into the building redesign, a NABERS Energy rating of 5.5 Stars has been achieved, which will complement the already achieved 5 Star Green Star Office As-Built Rating.
