R. Glenn Ralph
Group Managing Director, Partner & Group Principal Mechanical Engineer

Glenn, a respected industry professional, is the Group Managing Director of Floth, as well as a Partner and Group Principal Mechanical Engineer. With 40 years’ experience in the engineering industry, he is an expert in the areas of Mechanical Engineering, Building Operational Technology
(BOT), Tri and Co-Generation and Sustainability.
Glenn has held the position of Project Director on numerous large-scale major projects managing the design and co-ordination of all services. He has a passion for delivering technically excellent, commercially viable and sustainable designs for clients, and he is continually looking at ways to evolve and align the firm with the market, while also recognising opportunities for growth.
Glenn has been responsible for Floth’s expansion and evolution into the successful national group it is today, firstly with our Brisbane headquarters, secondly with the opening of the Perth office in 2012 and most recently with the Melbourne office in 2017. Over the past 10 years, Floth has doubled its Australian team (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth).
Richard Hewitt
Director (Queensland & Indonesia), Partner & Group Principal Electrical Engineer
Brisbane
Richard has 44 years of engineering experience and has been a part of the Floth team for 39 years, 11 of which were spent managing the Indonesian Office.
During his tenure in Indonesia, Richard was instrumental in the delivery of numerous large-scale projects in the commercial, manufacturing, industrial and infrastructure sectors for a range of international and national clients.
Working in Indonesia provided Richard the opportunity to broaden his knowledge across multi-disciplines and to appreciate the importance and benefit of thoroughly detailed documentation.
Whilst focusing on Queensland, Richard maintains a keen interest in the Indonesian market and has successfully secured and delivered a number of major projects in Jakarta and Bali by leveraging the complementary benefits provided by the Australian and Indonesian Offices working in partnership.
Tim Blaxland
Director, Partner, Sydney Office Manager & NSW Principal Electrical Engineer
Sydney
Tim has 27 years’ experience in the industry and started his professional career at Floth. Tim has led a number of large projects across a wide range of property industry sectors, including commercial office, residential, and hospitality. Tim is responsible for internal project management, building services coordination, and electrical services design.
Tim is an expert in Electrical Engineering, Building Operational Technology (BOT), Project Management and Contract Negotiations, and has a broad understanding of construction processes and strong knowledge of multi-disciplinary building services, enabling him to provide value throughout the project life cycle. Tim was responsible for the establishment of Floth’s in-house electrical Accredited Service Provider service line.
Outside of work, Tim has a strong interest in the numerical simulation of spaceflight and served as the Chief Technical Office for Team Stellar in their bid for the Google Lunar X-Prize.
Tim Philp
Director (Victoria & Western Australia), Partner & VIC/WA Principal Mechanical Engineer

Tim is the Director responsible for Victoria and Western Australia and also a Principal Mechanical Engineer. Tim started his professional career at Floth and now has 18 years’ experience in the engineering industry, during which time he has successfully grown and developed both the Perth
and Melbourne offices.
Tim is an expert in the areas of Mechanical Engineering and Tri & Co-Generation, and he has held the position of project leader on numerous large-scale projects, managing the design and co-ordination of all services.
Ian Osborne
Director, Brisbane Office Manager & QLD Principal Electrical Engineer

Ian is a Partner, Brisbane Office Manager and Principal Electrical Engineer with 38 years’ experience in the engineering industry, which includes 30 years at Floth working in the Sydney, Jakarta and Brisbane offices.
Ian has been responsible for internal project management, building services coordination, and electrical services design on a number of large projects across a broad cross-section of the property industry. Ian is an expert in Electrical Engineering, Sustainability, Building Operational Technology (BOT) and Project Management.

Hands-on Senior Financial Professional with over 20 years’ experience in commercial and chartered accounting roles, including positions with KPMG and listed entities FKP Property Group, Forest Place Group and Thiess Contractors. Specialties: Financial management, statutory/management/board reporting, systems and process improvement, acquisitions and business integration, treasury and cash management, strategic and financial planning, staff optimisation, supervision & leadership.
Yvette Kapor
Group HR & Commercial Manager

Yvette has over 25 years’ experience working within the building services engineering sector and has developed a strong understanding of Floth operations across administration, marketing, quality assurance, contract reviews / negotiations and human resources.
Leading the human resources for the group, Yvette has been instrumental in developing our human resources policies and systems including the recent achievements of our social justice label “Just Organisation” and the integration of ISO 45001 “Occupational Health and Safety Management System” within our quality assurance system.

Mark Bowes
Partner, Senior Mechanical Engineer & Senior Fire Strategist

Mark has 43 years’ experience in the engineering industry and 24 years as a Senior Mechanical & Fire Strategist Engineer at Floth. His areas of expertise lie in Mechanical Engineering and Fire Strategy and Life Safety Systems Design. Mark’s responsibilities include the design and documentation of mechanical services, fire strategy, sprinkler and life safety systems, supervising design staff, project management and design and supervision of the construction phase of various projects.
Anthony Marklund
Partner, Technical Director – Sustainability
Brisbane
Anthony leads Floth’s Sustainability division across their five offices from their 6 Star, Carbon Neutral head office in Brisbane. He is a passionate authority on green buildings with over 25 years’ experience as a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Sustainability Consultant across a broad variety of projects in England and Australia.
Anthony is an accomplished project leader and lead sustainability consultant on green commercial, mixed-use, hotel, healthcare, education, laboratory, justice and transport hub projects. As Principal Sustainability Engineer at Floth, he has overseen 180 Brisbane’s achievement of the first 6 Star Green Star Office v3 certified project in Queensland and Floth’s 69 Robertson Street’s hat trick of Australian ESD ratings firsts and international recognition as the first Australian winner of a World Green Building Council Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Award for Leadership in Sustainable Design and Performance – Commercial Category.

Michael Barber

Melbourne
Michael is the Melbourne Office Manager & Principal Mechanical Engineer with over 16 years’ experience in successfully leading large projects in Melbourne’s CBD. His key skills include technical design and calculations for all aspects of mechanical services, multi-disciplinary coordination and client relationship development and management.
Michael has worked on a wide range of projects through numerous sectors including education, commercial towers, residential towers, sporting precincts and stadiums, retail, healthcare, fit-outs, galleries, pharmaceutical and more. He has been involved with key architectural projects such as the Parliament of Victoria Members’ Annexe building, which was the recipient of the 2019 Melbourne Prize (among other awards) at the Victoria Architecture Awards, as well as the State Library Vison 2020 redevelopment, numerous projects at Melbourne’s iconic MCG and a range of Melbourne towers.

Vineeth is the Perth Office Manager & Principal Mechanical Engineer with 19 years’ experience in the engineering industry in both contracting and consulting. He is responsible for the leadership, development and growth of the Perth office. Vineeth has held the position of Engineering Manager on numerous large-scale projects and is an expert in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Contract Administration and Stakeholder Engagement.
With strong technical skills and the ability to coordinate multifaceted activities, he is able to analyze problems and to implement solutions. Vineeth’s extensive experience covers diverse projects including commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, defence, educational and industrial sectors within Australia and overseas and includes working on many high-profile projects.
Vineeth is a solutions-oriented and quality-focused Chartered mechanical engineer with proven history of success in building services projects. Aided with a strong construction and technical background, Vineeth strives to provide functional and economical solutions. As the Principal Mechanical Engineer in the Perth Floth office, Vineeth brings a practical understanding to projects and a zeal for technical excellence.
