INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN ENGINEERING DAY
International Women in Engineering Day 2020 is a global awareness campaign to raise the profile of women in engineering. To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, we would like to take this opportunity to recognise our female engineers – who are trailblazing a path for future generations of aspiring young women in a male-dominant industry:
- Lenny Martin – Electronic Engineer (Jakarta) B.E. Eng (Elec)
- Victoria Fabo – Hydraulic & Fire Engineer (Perth) B.E. Mech (Hons), BEcons
- Alice Ling – Electrical Engineer (Perth) B.E Elec (Hons)
- Carmen Arama – Senior Electrical Engineer (Perth) MEng
- Heidi Bokma – Mechanical Engineer (Brisbane) BE Mech (Hons) BSc Physics
- Emma Bond – Electrical Engineer (Brisbane) BE Elec (Hons) BMaths
We are proud to have doubled our contingent of female engineering staff in the last year, and we encourage more women to consider engineering as a profession.
We would also like to celebrate all the female staff from our CAD, administration and accounts teams, who all contribute to the success of our business.
Floth embraces equality in the workplace and values the unique differences between genders and enjoys the positive impact this variety adds to our business.
