CLIENTS’ ICON AND CURTIN CARE WIPE THE FLOOR AT MASTER BUILDERS CONSTRUCTION AWARDS
Floth are ecstatic to announce two of our clients’ projects won awards at Master Builders Association of Western Australia’s recent Bankwest Excellence in Construction Awards in Perth.
Construction company Icon’s Purpose Build Student Accommodation, The Switch, took home the Best Multi Unit Development ($50m – $100m) Award.
Floth were responsible for the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire consulting services for this successful project.
The Switch is situated on Wellington Street in Perth. This slender tower rises 125m over 40 levels and is now considered the tallest residential structure in Western Australia. The Switch includes 483 beds across 288 units and will help students and young people beat WA’s soaring rental prices.

Curtin Care’s Marine Views Cottesloe aged care facility won the Best Aged Care Building award.
Floth are proud to have been part of the delivery team for this aged care facility. We provided mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire services, along with a number of engineering initiatives.
Located on Marine Parade in Cottesloe, the facility consists of high-end luxury and resort-style independent living units and residential care facilities The aged care building accommodates 140 new bedrooms, as well as function rooms, cinema, café, hairdresser and salon, library, spa, private dining, a host of living areas, dining areas, courtyards, and open terraces with scenic coastal views.
